Cardinal's Training Facility

1990 | Tempe, AZ | 96,000 sq ft | $11.8 million

• This NFL corporate headquarters and training facility was designed to evoke a contemporary southwestern image to rebrand the Cardinal's St. Louis heritage to the Arizona desert. The design demonstrates our groups' environmental sensitivity by providing all 94,000 SF of habitable space with natural daylight without intense light or over heating problems.
The complex is fully networked, connecting offices, locker rooms, training classrooms, medical areas, production, and media rooms. On-site systems integrate security, HVAC, communication, audio-visual, and production tools, enhancing collaboration among administration, marketing, coaching, medical, and athletic personnel.
• Over the years, this facility has earned recognition as the "best" in the NFL. It was at the forefront of sustainable design at the time of construction and has garnered multiple awards. The building has appeared in Jerry Maguire and How Great Buildings Work.
• This training facility was a thoughtful collaboration between Kenyon Architectural Group and Jones Studio.
