PROJECT  DESCRIPTION

The campus's layout revealed a lack of cohesive long-term development vision, particularly in the placement of buildings and their relationship to pedestrian circulation. While initial designs acknowledged views and solar orientations for open spaces, they failed to foster memorable outdoor environments.

The proposed Master Plan addresses these shortcomings by recommending the removal of several existing buildings (A, B, C, D, E, and J) and introducing two new structures to the south and west of the current campus. This addition aims to create a traditional campus quadrangle that connects the library with the art, science, and business buildings, enhancing the overall sense of community.

To improve safety and accessibility, the plan separates vehicular and pedestrian circulation. The previous loop road will be replaced by two new entry gateways featuring designated drop-off areas on both the west and east sides of the campus. Additionally, parking lots will be reconfigured into smaller, more manageable sections, with broad pedestrian walkways leading directly into the campus core, promoting a more inviting and navigable environment.
